Do You Believe in Love at First Sight? In other words, do you believe that it is possible to fall in love with someone the first time you meet or see them, without even knowing their name or knowing anything about them? It hasnt happened to me
I think the only thing that is possible at first sight is an attraction- it is more lust at first sight! I do not believe u can fall in love with a person without knowing them, knowing about them. You have to be aware of who they are, what they are, how they live their life. maybe i'm wrong i dunno  JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

I totally agree Red!
My definition of "love" mostly includes knowing and admiring the inside of a person, and that's not possible to do by just taking a look. I think when we judge someone as being physically attractive and interesting, we automatically project positive personality characteristics onto them, too, hoping they exist. Or in other words, if I like what I see on the outside, I will want to like what's on the inside, too. There have been many times, though, where the inner qualities of someone I found handsome didn't match the outside. Those who say they "just knew" either got lucky that the insides matched the outsides, or they actually didn't grow to love the person until later but their memory makes it seem as if they "just knew" right away... | |

Love at first sight?
I believe in lust, physical attraction at first sight. U no the scene, u c someone in the distance or u just pass them in the street, 4 a moment ur eyes meet and time kinda slows down and u feel light and u smile and they smile back at u...it's all good...they look good...u feel good and then... they open their mouth and say a really crappy chat up line like "Would you mind if I take your temperature using my special thermometer?" The scene just dies there and then! Love is something that grows and is spiritual and is on a higher level than the first lust or physical attraction. I don't believe it is possible to 'love at first sight'. To truly love someone u have 2 grow with them, learn all their is 2 know, share feelings, share ur darkest secrets, always feel safe in their arms...and u MUST always feel that lil tingle in your belly when u kiss them...that light floating feeling that u felt the first time u kissed 
However it does depend on what kinda love we r talking about,...because there is the kind of 'obsessive love'. The kind where someone loves someone from a distance, without really knowing them...kinda like fam worship... LUST at first sight is sometimes confused with LOVE at first sight.
The former is very common and natural...the latter is almost impossible. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |
