I'm not going to date until I hit London, if even then. And that's forever for me, goddamnit! I mean, like, where is the sun?

Natsume said: [b]Saturday - Slept forever. Tried desperately to get over my vicious hangover - vodka ALWAYS does it to me. Swore off drinking and boys forever. Ate a lot of carbos to absorb the alcohol. Hung out with William (ex boyfriend/best friend) for a few hours. Met up with some friends for a midnight showing of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, my 2nd favorite movie of all time, at the old theater downtown. I LOVE Pee-Wee's Big Adventure! "I know you are, but what am? I know you are, but what am I?" and "There's no BASEMENT at the Alamo!" Friday I don't remember. Nothing really.
Saturday Had ballet class in the morning, and then spent the whole day in the garden . Dinner and champagne later. Sunday Went biking around Holland. It was very beautiful. Hot weather and cows and sheep and horses and ducks and windmills and cute farm houses and canals and cheese farms and ice cream, etc. Yesterday was so great that I was reminded that Holland can be really great . Then garden again, and Indonesian food and lots more of that stuff called alcohol Felt pretty crappy today in class. "I know you are, but what am? I know you are, but what am I?" and "There's no BASEMENT at the Alamo!" It's such an awesome movie! Tim Burton is an amazing director, that's for damn sure. So much of it is so hilarious - and what I love about Pee-Wee is that kids can watch him and get a kick out of his stuff, as well as adults. I grew up watching the guy, as well as this movie... I have the whole thing memorized. I think I drove my friends nuts last night by reciting ALL of the dialogue. I mean, like, where is the sun?

I bet if I watched it now, it would all come back to me though. It's actually a pretty creepy movie. You had problems adjusting? Yeah, and I don't get out that much here. Just out of laziness I suppose. I forget I live here, and then I do something like I did yesterday, and see all these "typical Dutch" things, and think "Oh yeah, I live in Holland!" Hi! I spent the Friday nite and Sturday in classes and doing homeowrk...then Saturday nite I hit the clubs with some pals and then had a crazy after bar... next thing we knew, the sunw was up and we were all wasted and singing along with Sinead O'Connor... I didn't do shit yesterday, but lay around and swear off alcohol... Oh yeah, I also bought a fancy-shmancy backpack for my trip over the weekend...it kicks ass...
