What I want out of life is a decent paying, stable job where I can work until I retire (which is practically impossible to find nowadays), financial stability, and a house with lots of nice trees.

I want to find joy each and every day of life. I always want to have new adventures and new passions and I'll always be happy.

I agree with everything except the always being happy part, without some sadness, happiness means nothing.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

That's a good point, but I can't be wishing for sadness. I will tell you that generally when I am sad (like when my Grandpa recently died) underneath the sadness I am generally happy.

I know what you mean as strange as how it sounds smile

From what I know of Psychology, It's because you are a happy person with good coping skills! Or at least you sound like it!

Good for you! I've often been described as Melancholy sad
Sorry to hear about your Grandpa. comfort

Thanks for the kind words about my Grandpa and I do have pretty good coping skills. I am in no position to give advice, but if I were to give advice I would say that you need to concentrate and take the time to find or search for things that make you happy.

I mean how hard could it be to get Keanu and John to feed you grapes lol

Very hard I've been trying for years!

I hear what your saying though,I came to that conclusion on my own a while back. Actually I listened to Joni Mitchell's "All I Want" Like athousand times in a row and then came to that conclusion!

Here are the lyrics if you don't know the song:

I am on a lonely road and I am traveling
Traveling, traveling, traveling
Looking for something, what can it be
Oh I hate you some, I hate you some
I love you some
Oh I love you when I forget about me
I want to be strong I want to laugh along
I want to belong to the living
Alive, alive, I want to get up and jive
I want to wreck my stockings in some juke box dive
Do you want - do you want - do you want
To dance with me baby
Do you want to take a chance
On maybe finding some sweet romance with me baby
Well, come on

All I really really want our love to do
Is to bring out the best in me and in you too
All I really really want our love to do
Is to bring out the best in me and in you
I want to talk to you, I want to shampoo you
I want to renew you again and again
Applause, applause - life is our cause
When I think of your kisses
My mind see-saws
Do you see - do you see - do you see
How you hurt me baby
So I hurt you too
Then we both get so blue

I am on a lonely road and I am traveling
Looking for the key to set me free
Oh the jealousy, the greed is the unraveling
It's the unraveling
And it undoes all the joy that could be
I want to have fun, I want to shine like the sun
I want to be the one that you want to see
I want to knit you a sweater
Want to write you a love letter
I want to make you feel better
I want to make you feel free
Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm,
Want to make you feel free
I want to make you feel free
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Love, respect & faith...to feel loved for who I am, respected for who I am...and to be given faith in who I am...to feel these within life is rare and amazing.

'What do I want out of life?'

I suppose it's just the usual things, like happiness, love, health, a caring loving family, loyal and trusting friends and a troupe of killer badgers to do my evil bidding.

But, alas, not easily achieved. But that's what I aim for...

Dance, music, sex, romance. . .and to fuck the taste out of your mouth. . .sincerely!

What I really want is to live and unböring life. I want to live and die a freak and have a fucking great time and hopefully spread some joy.

Can you relate?

Okay.
I want to be strong, so I can feel happy while being alone.
I want to be sweet, so I can share what I have.
I want to be open (NO pun intended!), so I will not miss opportunities when they present themselves.

In the meantime, I feel lonely. Wish I had someone to share my life with and feel scared about life.

We have a missmatch.
