Sorry, but I thought it sucked!
I've heard all the arguments like it went over peoples heads and it was just a bridge between the 1st and the last movie.Well, I don't think it went over anyones head.
I got the whole ghost and werewolf reference in relation to the twins and that french dudes bodyguards, and the whole matrix inside a matrix thing, (that's my theory anyway).
I just thought the speacial effects were overdone, the fight scenes sucked,and Neo is just too incredible.
I know I'm not the only one who didn't like it.

I aplaud you for your intelligence, Daywalker. A lot of people here on the org will put up a hissy fit cuz they simply loved this piece of shit. Every single person I have spoken to about this film said it sucked as well. It was just a bunch of overdone effects and unnessesary fight scenes. They really tried to play movie goers for suckers.

I thought that it's an okay movie. though I haven't seen it yet.

Actually no. Cuz even the typical mindless action film fan thought it was crap.

I find it funny how I'm the only one who gets shit for disliking this movie. Damn, peeps are fiending.

I'll seize the opportunity to resurrect an old post that died a quick death. (I think maybe I posted it too early)...

Reasons why the movie sucked:

1) It's too long and sorely paced.
2) Just too many gratuitous fight sequences.
3) The FX, while nice, weren't mind-boggling or innovative as in the first movie... and the coolest FX were overused.
4) The existentialist conversation was WAY overboard and contrived in this one.
5) The new characters' parts were inconsequential.
6) Increased (and unnecesary) graphic violence, profanity... even sexuality and suggestions of nudity.
7) Too many scenes of our heroes being saved from hopeless situations at the last minute.
8) A woman like Trinity would never be attracted to a guy like Neo.

I wanted to enjoy the film, but I think the Wachowski brothers fell off with this one. I think the three best things about it were:

* Nona Gaye's pretty face
* A cool new Dave Matthews song, and
* The trailer for the third film after the credits.

I just have one question: how many times does Lawrence Fishburne have to almost fall of the truck before I was supposed to believe he was in danger. One would have been sufficient.

that is the general problem I had with the entire movie. they took so many cool things and made them boring because they just kept going on and on and on.

Oh boy now the Matrix.

I loved the movie saw it twice. It was full
of action and the martial arts were off the
hook. The one scene when Neo went to see
the Oracle and he and the guy were fighting
those moves alone made the film worth every
penny. They looked like they were doing a
dance very well done.

The only thing that shocked me was
that Laurence got chubby.

The special effects were well done.

grossed 93.3 millon. Enjoyed

I thought it was cool. I guess that means i don't have a brain :LOL:

Not at all. On another thread I simply spoke my mind about the film itself and everyone went crazy. Some just like to jump on my shit for no reason.
