I've had a really, really stressful day, folks! To try to make it short and sweet:

I went to court today with one of my clients, and had to endure the B.S. of a totally unfit "grandfather" (who's already messed up several of his own kids) trying to take away custody of my client's baby. He accused me of stealing a letter my client wrote to him, etc. Total prick. Only consolation is that I probably won't have to say a word, he'll dig his own grave with this case, he's such a jerk.

Then later today, I found I'd accidentally left my car lights on and my battery was dead. I called TripleA--that's what I pay em for is to tow me or jumpstart my battery, no big deal, right? So to kill some time before they got there, I walked to the grocery store. While there, I got a call from the police telling me my car alarm had been going off for the last 30 minutes (apparently when your battery dies, your car alarm can go off).

I am SUCH an idiot! So--soothe me! Make me laugh!

Yep, and I went to the wrong building for the court hearing and had to walk/run several blocks to the correct one, and my shoes gave me a couple of blisters--ya know, beginning of the season, you're wearing your sandals again but your feet aren't used to them yet...
