seems like what seems normal now will not be in the future or wasn't in the past...
psychodelicide said: With the new millenium, and even before the new millenium came, this seems to be a rapidly spreading trend. I guess people are sick of the standard names (John, Mary, etc.) so they call their kids these wacko names that are not even attractive.
I know of this married woman who had a baby last year, and she and her husband named the baby girl Delaney! That has got to be the UGLIEST name I've ever heard, since to me, it sounds like the name of a car or something. Now I know how cruel kids can be, since I was picked on a lot as a kid, and when this little girl starts school, she'd better be tough to fight off the school bullies when they tease her about her unusual name. I certainly would not want to give my kid some of these newfangled names that have been surfacing lately. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid
