I Love Amazon.com!!

This website is the shiznit! I have all of Prince's albums on cassette, and am recently upgrading my Prince album collection by buying the albums on CD format. Amazon.com has all of the Prince CDs that are out of print and are no longer available.

Another thing that I like about Amazon.com is that you can pick and choose if you want a new or used CD, and how much you want to pay for it. You don't have to bid on it like you do on Ebay, and either hope that someone doesn't outbid you or bidding on it again when somebody does.

Amazon.com rules, I will always go there anytime I need to find something Prince related, since so far, my experiences with it have been nothing but positive.

headbang yay! woot! highfive
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I just like the extensiveness of their website and all the
customer reviews. Sometimes I spend 3/4 of my day at work
doing nothing but lurking at amazon.com

The only pain is I can't order anything from them since I
don't have a creditcard.

But it's cool to search all the info and reviews you need
on a product over at amazon and than try find that product
on a more local website.

Both Best Buy stores by my house both currently have all of Prince's releases in stock besides The Black Album and The Gold Experience (they even have a few of the maxi-singles) in stock. With one trip you could buy everything. BTW I don't think Amazon has the Black Album or The Gold Experience either as people are always complaining that they can't find them anywhere and I would have to assume they checked Amazon.

Also, I can't believe you were still listening to cassettes until this point. It's seriously like 10 years or more behind the average consumer. big grin

I disagree, I just recently purchased the Black Album AND the Gold Experience through Amazon.com. The people who are complaining about not being able to find it have either not did a search on Amazon and/or they have not searched diligently enough.

To each his own, what is good for one person does not necessarily make it good for another. What made me decide to switch from cassettes to CDs was largely in part because I just bought a brand new car that has a CD player in it, but no cassette deck. My old car had a cassette player in it, so I was still able to pop my cassettes in there for a listen as I was driving.

True enough.

I've pretty much stopped listening to my cd's because I have converted them all to mp3's and have my portable and the ability to hook it up to my stereo. 20 gig is a whole lot of mp3's in one convenient source.

So does Amazon have the Black Album or TGE? Just curious.

This surprised me until I went to the site and realized that they have links to people selling them used. Sadly $15 for a used Gold Experience is a pretty good deal as they go for about $20 or so on ebay.

I did see one new Black Album but they wanted $30 for it.
