Timeless Movies...

I'm trying to find a few films that one can watch 1000 times and always find something new, inspiration, new insight, perplexing ideas, that enhance growth or simply entertain. I would like to see a list of everyone's top 10 films based on the aforementioned criteria.

My Current Top 10 in no particular order

1. Chinatown
2. 2001: A Space Odyssey
3. Do The Right Thing
4. Ghost World
5. Muriel's Wedding
6. The 400 Blows
7. Network
8. Sankofa
9. Dr. Strangelove Or How I Stopped Worrying and Loved the
Bomb.
10.A Clockwork Orange

Honorable Mention

Malcolm X, Vertigo, Cool Hand Luke, Sunset Boulevard, Bonnie and Clyde

Uhm...

Amadeus.
The Sound Of Music.
The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Torchsong Trilogy.
Le Grand Blue. (The Big Blue)
The Color Purple.
Muriels Wedding.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
Ever After.

That last one is a funny addition in my fave movie list; it is a Cinderella story with Drew Barrymore, that I find myself watching again and again without getting bored with it.
The casting is superb, the acting is great, the locations breath-taking (France!) and the story is fun without getting comical and romantic without getting mushy.

I love the colour purple. I always bawl my eyes out at the end when her sister comes back to her. What a great movie. I also love GlenGary/GlenRoss. Amazing movie with great acting. Scarface with Pacino is also a favourite.
