WOW! I cannot believe it... Today is my 30th year with the company I work for.

I started when I was 20. Can't wait to retire...

In my town last year there was a woman who was 100 years old and had worked for the same company for 83 years. She still was working 5 days a week as she turned 100.

She worked for Daytons (Marshall Fields). In her 83 years she had worked in almost every department but now she did/does some sort of desk job.

This was in the newspaper like a year ago so I'm not certain if she is still alive.

It was kind of sad because she never got married or seemingly did much of anything besides work at the same place for 83 years.

Hey Sag, when do you retire? Does your company have a 30 and out for a full pension or do you need to hit a certain age or what?

I can leave now with a penalty. But I am thinking that I will wait for about 5 more years...

I really wanted to retire at 50, and do something else.. But I will not make the money I do here..

Thank you all for the well wishes.. and yes, I am loyal in all that I do, and all that I love.. smile
