funniest ??? cheech & chong's next movie most scary ??? rosemary's baby most like the person you would like to live your life like...??? ferris bueller's day off the one movie you would tell us all to see and why...ralph bakshi's "coonskin" (aka "street fight"), cuz it's pretty damn sweet. that and "the warriors", cuz it's just cool.... and your favorite actor or actress...

what is your favorite movie of all time...???
Ed Wood And your right. This film tells allot about me. It's about a strugling movie directer / writer / actor who is really crap. But he keeps on trying and trying. I really relate to him when I watch it. He may not have talent but it dosn't stop him. I actually cried a little during this film. There is a lovely old man in the film who is Ed Woods childhood idol, and in Ed Woods adult life they meet up and become really good friends. Ed saves his life a few times because this old man takes drugs (in secret) and normaly ends up hurting himself and phning Ed for help. Anyway, it got to a point where Ed was broke and couldn't fund another film which he really wants to make, the phone rings (so I thought to myself "at last, it must be his big break because things simply can't get any worse"). In the next scene Ed is standing at the old mans funeral. I'm getting teary just thinking about it. It's a true story directed by the same guy who directed Batman (his name escapes me) It's realy funny to. most romantic ? I don't really do romantic films funniest ? Dogma most scary ? Carry. (The whole film was naff, Xcept for the very last 5 seconds  )
most like the person you would like to live your life like...? Prince in Under the cherry moon. Or Hagrid in Harry Potter the one movie you would tell us all to see and why.. Crash Davis from Bull Durham the one movie you would tell us all to see and why...Before Sunrise...it's romantic and it has great things to say about love and sex. Plus it has Julie Delpy in it  .

most romantic - Pizza Man-He Delivers. Yeah I know it's a porn but hey, it made me happy 
funniest - Showgirls. It's so stupid it's genius. most scary - The First Halloween. Yeah I know it got a little fake after the 74,969th time Michael Myers was supposed to be killed but the very idea of a psychotic sociopathic mental patient on the rampage in the guise of just another trick or treater...it just freaks me out. Another movie that was great was Susperia. It has what is probably the most artful murder scene. I had to get up and leave, it freaked me out that hard. most like the person you would like to live your life like...Dr. Frankenfurter (Rocky Horror Picture show) - I would love to be able to build my own man!  OR Hedwig from The Angry Inch. I just love artistic expression and it made me quite jealous to see it expressed so awesomely!

Fried Green Tomatoes-Simply because it's my favorite movie of all time and It's just such a moving story. and your favorite actor or actress...Surprisingly I don't have a favorite actor. My favorite actress is Lily Taylor. She's done alot of indie films and she's been great in every single one. My other faves are Kathy Bates (to have followed up Misery with Fried Green Tomatoes-That should tell you why) and Diane Wiest. Diane Wiest always plays such a genuine likable woman, someone you wish you were related to. the one movie you would tell us all to see and why... It's not necessarily my favorite but "City Lights" with Charlie Chaplin. I think it's a good example of his ability to mix comedy with tragedy. Plus it's just damn funny. and your favorite actor or actress... I hate doing these things cause I like sooo many movies and I read someone else's list and remember those and I can never choose, but I'm doing it anyway.
what is your favorite movie of all time...??? I never get tired of watching Breakfast at Tiffany's, Pretty in Pink or True Romance most romantic ??? Breakfast at Tiffany's funniest ??? Kevin Smith films, all of them most scary ??? the Exorcist most like the person you would like to live your life like...??? hmmm... When I was 12 I wanted to be Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink, when I was 21 I wanted to be Parker Posey in Party Girl, now I'd most wanna be Carrie in Sex and the City cause she's got that great writing job and fabulous wardrobe. If it were a movie, that is. the one movie you would tell us all to see and why... Dancer in the Dark was probably the most powerful movie I've ever seen. And Josie and the Pussycats, cause I think it was completely underrated and targeted to the wrong audience. It was hilarious! and your favorite actor or actress... I like Parker Posey a lot, Ewan MacGregor, and lots of others I'm not thinking of right now... |
