My parents always told me that if I'd been born a girl, I would have been called Rachel. As it turned out, being a male child, I was called Brian.

Do other Orgers know what name they would have been called if they'd been born a member of the opposite sex? Post your first name and then post what your first name would have been had you been born a different gender. If you don't know, then telephone your parents right now and ask them.

They didn't have a name picked out for me at all. Male or female. Actually, the doctor who delivered me ended up naming me.

Seriously, though my mum and dad never thought I would be a boy so they never thought about a boys name...they didnt have tests to find out my sex or anything they just for a girl, and Hey Presto, out I popped!

They already had a girls name chosen for me before I was born.

If I were female, my parents would have named me "Stephanie."

Their choices for a male baby were "Andrew" or "Matthew," and they chose the latter after I was born.

Had I been born a boy I was going to be OMFG Aaron ELVIS
