My weekend basically sucked because I was in bed with a wicked sinus/respitory infection...but, yesterday I went to a Memorial Day parade and went to my mom's and planted flowers and had Hungarian food.

Oh wait, I did go to see a Japanese artist playing the Yukalalee (spelling) with someone backing her with bass and drums, and another woman who played the bubbles. (yes, the bubbles in the bottle).

then there was a room next to where the show was, with all sorts of weird stuff, like a guy walking around with a camera in his mouth, and another woman who was walking around with dead meat, and someone who burnt wood, then tried to patch it back together.

It's the last time I let someone tell me "hey, come with us, there's a great show tonight."

I had a rad weekend. Went to the local Sasquatch music festival, saw Coldplay, Flaming Lips, Jurassic 5, Joseph Arthur, Neko Case. . .it was good.

Tried a new (to me) vegan restaurant, Carmelitas, gorgeous froufrou place on the water. . .nice.

Checked out the new Apple store near here. . .nice.

Didn't do any homework. . .whoops.

Very fun weekend.

Was my birthday on Friday so was drunk most of the weekend and then Monday we had great weather!!!

Jess (MostBeautifulGrlNTheWorld) came to stay with us for a few days. Since I've become such a photo-whore, she shot a bunch of pictures of me at various places... I think we went through six rolls (36 pictures per roll). Hmmm... my calcuator says that's 216 pics... wow.

Once they're developed and I've decided which photos I like best, I'll put together an online "album." In the interest of not slowing everyone's browser to a crawl, I'll just post a link instead of posting the actual photos.

well, actually they can carry lyme disease which is nasty. but first they have to bite you and i moved too fast for them to catch me
