This is historical. You shouldn't have backed Bush in the Iraq war Classic! They sing it completely out of key / out of tune though, and royally deserved nil points I'm afraid. Pity because it is probably a good pop tune, if only they had someone decent singing it. I only ever watch it for Terry Wogan's commentary anyway... I thought Austria and Poland were the worst by a long shot. How they got so many votes is a mystery... but all the voting is very political anyway. (Hence the UK's zero points... given the recent stance on Iraq, and the euro etc the UK has no friends in Europe). The best songs I felt were from Ireland, Norway, and the Netherlands. Also Greece gets bonus points for that dominatrix-style dress... | |

Funny thing was... Wogan was bitching all night about political voting, people voting for their neighbours etc... but then he complained when the UK gave Ireland such high points, yet Ireland didn't give the UK anything. Erm Terry did you hear how bad the UK song was? | |
