Which are your favs?
I personally own about 12 pair. But, i venture
to say that's on the low end of the scale among
ORGERS. Why are Americans obsessed with footwear??

This is hard. I probably have about 15 pairs of boots. Maybe about 8 pairs of MaryJanes. 9 pairs of sneakers. And probably about 20 more pairs of misc. shoes. And my closet stinks!

I have to have a pair to match each outfit. And I go through phases. Right now I like red, so I just bought a pair of red boots, red mary janes, and red sneakers!

Well... I own 8 pairs of boots (but for some reason only wear about two or three of them a lot), 13 pairs of stilletos, 6 pairs of tennis shoes, 10 pairs of heels, and 9 pairs of summer shoes. All neatly thrown under my bed in their boxes!

I like shoes just about as much as I like purses!

Don't get me going on purses!!! I have a friend who works at Coach and I can't get enough!

i'm pretty basic...
black or brown dress shoes, different styles.
black or white sneakers, especially love white.
black or brown work boots...and a couple of
dress boots...that's it. Red would never make
it into my closet!

Clogs, boots, loafers, laceups, sneakers...I also have to have a pair to match each outfit.
Carrie, where do you find so many Mary Janes? I'm always looking for those too...but, sometimes they're hard to find because I have such big feet (I wear a size 10-11, but I'm also 5'9-1/2" tall.)

Why do women go crazy with the shoe thing?

I also have a very hard time letting them go when they go out of style. I just took a load over to the neighbor a few weeks ago. That was very hard for me to do.

Apples I can usually find a good pair at Bakers in the mall. Or I go to 3 particular stores in Providence, we call them the chinese stores because it's all chinese people who work there and there is no name on the building! They are real cheap, which makes me think they may be stolen or something

Not enough! I've got to have about 50-75 pairs with at least 30 of them being sneakers. A girl can never have too many shoes. The shoes can make or break and outfit!

ahhh...I love those they remind me of high school. I used to get the ones with the little dragons embroidered on the toes...they were so cute!
Now, I have to get the industrial-strength rubber-sole ones because I'm getting too old and my feet hurt too much from the mushy sole ones.

Wow! I have over 70 pairs of shoes, most were black but now I'v been getting more into color because it adds to the outfit your wearing. I have a shoe fetish especially for sexy shoes, I have the flatist to the tallest in heals and I'm always looking for more.

It seems I have:

6 pairs of tennis shoes
2 pairs of marching shoes
4 pairs of dress shoes.

If my mathematics are correct, that makes for 12 pairs.

i did a spring cleaning of my closet floor and took a bunch of shoes to Goodwill in May. if i hadn't gotten rid of those, i'd have over 30 pair.

about 25 pairs plenty of different color plat forms and four tenni's,and a few boots too

5 pairs of high heels shoes
2 pairs of slippers
8 pairs of sandals
2 pairs of boots
