Just enjoy and have a great time. I have been to mexico many times and I love it. The hotels and beaches are fabulous and the mexican people are so nice and down to earth. The Mayan Riviera is the nicest part IMO. Adios amigo!

Oh, and don't drink the water...make sure your ice cubes are purified too. You don't want your margarita's giving you the runs true dat had a bout with that about 2 years ago...you would think the alchohol would help but it doesn't enjoy though it is beautiful once you get out of the cities. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

- Definitely take Immodium with U
- Get a hep shot or...run a lemon/lime across your cutlary and glass at every single meal - Don't eat vendor food - Wear footwear on public beaches that are heavily populated or risk bringing home a pet critter with you, larvae in your feet. This I can attest to. For 3 weeks I had a worm crawl around inside my foot - ahhh alien!) - If you like hammocks, Mexicans know the weave. Comfort+ - If you are going to venture to the ruins, take a special sack of goodies for the children enroute. You will come across unimaginable poverty. Have the driver stop and pass out some crayons, children sized sneakers(in bad need of kicks out there), a t-shirt, a toy. -Watch out for 2-headed snakes -When taking a taxi, always ask how much first and make sure it is a taxi or you may find yourself at gunpoint at an ATM machine. But most of all...enjoy!
