I aready posted this in the 'Sunburn' thread, but it's obviously applicable here:

I had to have a worriesome mole removed from the middle of my back last year due to getting burnt.Turned out it wasn't cancerous after the Doctor had said it was, and given me a 'Living with cancer' leaflet.I was stood there stunned for 5 minutes until he ran back in and said there'd been a mix up with the reports and snatched that leaflet out of my hands.For 5 minutes i thought i was going to die.Of course i insisted i had all this in writing.

I don't have much of a scar though now, i think i had 6 or 7 stitches.

But never ever think you're invulnerable.

My back is covered in scars due to skin cancer scares...shit is not a joke.
