Okay.
Let me hit it off then, as we used to do. I just read Two Boys At Swim, by Jamie O'Neill, about two boys seperated by politics and class in Ireland during the first world war. They overcome these obstacles, but get seperated by a turn of events no one can predict. A hard read, as the book is told by different people, all using different kinds of language. From upper class to lower class. Also, I might not have been in the right mind set for this book. Do not read this in the midst of depression. And right now, to keep costs down, I am working my way through my Terry Pratchett collection.
I just finished The Last Continent, a jolly good read for Aussies. It features puns at Mad Max, Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert, kangaroos, beer and of course the language ("Where is the village of Buggarup?") I am now doubting between reading Interesting Times and Pyramids. Think it will be the last.

I've heard about this book Gooey and just finished reading At Swim Two Birds, which is where he got his title from. You might like that as well. It's by Flann O'Brien. It was wild!
