I'm curious! What's all this "bookclub" talk I'm almost done with school for the summer and will ned some ideas for recreational reading...

Seriously, I just got an email from Ben today. He supports the idea strongly, as do all of the mods, but he's been trying to find the time to set up a separate forum, which would be the best solution.
He doesn't know for sure when this might happen. Maybe we should start this on a separate thread, maybe in the Politics and Religion Forum? Maybe here? I don't know. Anyway, this might also be a good time to get more people on board. The book we (heh heh I) chose first is J.M. Coetzee's Waiting for the Barbarians. If you want in, contact me and let me know or just post here. Not that anyone can't participate, but I want to try to keep everything together. We can't let JaneyPoos's Clue thread outdo us all in organization!! For all those who have contacted me recently, I do apologize. I know I let this drop.

I didn't get an org note I read it weeks ago... We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou
