There's a funny anecdote about Samuel Beckett the Irish playwright.
Beckett was walking with a friend in Paris on a beautiful sunny day. He turned to his friend and said,"It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" The friend responded, "Yes, it makes one glad to be alive." To which Beckett replied "Aw now, I wouldn't go that far..."

You know.. I woke up feeling crappy.. NY is expecting rain and nasty weather for like 7 days.. and i am PMSing.. and i was miserable.. But as my morning has gone on I am thankful for a lot of things.. A wonderful loving boyfriend, a well paying job, good friends, a great family.. the fact i am taking a vacation soon.. I feel really good to be alive.. I am counting my blessings every day! | |
