alright... this is kinda long... i apologize... read it through it, though... you'll find something to talk about... trust me...

i haven't started a thread around here in a long time... good reason for that - they generally fall off pretty damn quickly...

but i got to thinkin' about it, and i wanted to talk about a few things: the blues... particularly buddy guy and the blues and that whole shit...


now, for those of you who don't know or care who buddy guy is, you can just pass along... or you can stay around and learn something... or you can just take this chance to say, "ellis, i can't stand you... you get on my friggin' nerves"... the opportunity is there...


anyway... buddy guy may not be the most famous bluesman, that's mostly because he's never played the pop or rock game and tried to water-down his music in order to achieve success... and it's a damn shame that more people don't know him, because buddy guy is the best fuckin' lead guitar player that i have ever heard... and when i saw him live, he topped himself he was so damn good...


and the words the man sings... like "when you see the tears falling from my eyes," or "damn right i got the blues," or "when my left eye start to jumpin' and my flesh begin to crawl"... "woman you must be stone damn crazy or either you gonna lose your mind"... this muthafucka knows what he's talking about...


but the song i wanna talk about is "i got a problem"... cause we all got problems...

and you get closer to her... and someday, you start to have to having feelings for this girl that's more than what you would have for a friend... almost like the feelings you got for your wife - except it's more fresh... it's that new love feeling... everybody knows that new love feeling... the feeling where everything is exciting cause you learnin' so much about each other... wonderful feelin'... of course, you still love the feeling you get from your wife...

and maybe you don't act on these feelings and "wreck your life" like buddy talks about... but that shit still eats at you all the damn time... ain't that some shit...

and buddy busts that shit up... you hear it in his voice... he knows what he's talking about... and when he hits those guitar strings, that shit is blown up... that's it... it's all over... you feel this man and you feel what he's trying to convey...

now, the reason this is here in the g.d forum is this... most of y'all don't give a rat's ass about me or buddy guy... but everyone love to talk about themselves... and i love to see people talking about themselves... you learn shit about people that way... and sometime about yourself, too...

so, let's talk about this problem...

have you ever been with someone and love that person and then think you may be falling in love with someone else at the same damn time..?

tell me about it people...
