The many roles of Women Do You think it's possible for a woman 2 have a professional life, as well and being a mother and a wife? Cuz 2 me it seems like women have 2 decide either or. I know this will make alot of arguments, but I was just watching this thing where Oprah Explained one of the reasons why she never got married is mainly because of her busy Career. She said she was a non-traditional who really couldn't see herself balancing all three things of being a mother, wife and talk show host. So it's like as women we have 2 choose what we want cuz we can't have both, even if we do try to have both, it never really turn out 2 be in the way u hope for... because children need 24 hr attention and that goes for the man ur married 2 as well. Now imagine trying 2 handling all the above, it seems like it's a difficult role 2 play... I use 2 dream about being in love and everything but 2 me it just seems like it's all game and people trying 2 get over people, so now I'm like I'm just gonna be one of those rich old ladies who lives alone and have a fling with a young buck every now and then What do u all think about this, do u think women have 2 choose or is possible 2 handle all three?

Ex-Moderator | I think it's very possible to have a career a great marriage and children. But you have to have lots of energy, a flexible career (one where you can make your own schedule, work free-lance, consulting or part-time as needed) and a partner who's just as involved (if not more) in raising the child. It's just a LOT of work.
Of course, I don't have kids, so this is just based on my knowledge of others experiences. I know lots of women who make it work. |

Yes a woman can do all these things and more. The trick is balance. In balance their is great sacriface and there is great pleasure. If balanced the roles could continuously change. It's when shit becomes unbalanced that you see things get wacked out.
Example: The Murdering Mom who blamed God. Her shit was definately unbalanced and out of wack.
