Looking for a summer job

Well.. I´m looking for a summer job and Luxemburg (a very small country: thus a paradise for banking) has always welcomed students from Metz, the nearest French city. Now since September 2001 they have been downsizing a lot.demon But then, an Italian bank called me and offered me a paid summer job though. So I went to Luxemburg, paid 12 Euros for the train, forced myself into highheels..sexy And they asked me whether I ´d like to work for the professional experience or for the money. So I wanted to for both reasons so I said "both". The woman (all dressed in Gucci) told me she won´t pay me but would be glad if I would work (8hours a day, 6days a week) without getting paid twocents !! eyepop Of course I refused.hmph! Then she asked me whether I didn´t have rich parents who could offer me this beautiful experience... What do you think?? hmmm I´m angry... sigh

Hey unpaid internships are sometimes necessary evils. When I was a student I found that most if not nearly all media internships are unpaid. But when you don't have the money it basically isn't an option, but if the companies can find people to work for free more power to them.

IMHO an unpaid internship is better than nothing. You can put it on your resume as experience, and there's always the chance that it could lead to a paid position.
