Boy suspected of viewing porn sites, stealing lingerie in homes

REDMOND -- When a hand ran across her hair that night, a woman slumbering in bed thought her 10-year-old son needed comforting after a bad dream.

She spoke to the person. There was silence, then consciousness and eventually a loud scream.

The hand belonged to a 13-year- old neighborhood boy with a particular fondness for Internet pornography and women's lingerie, according to the King County prosecutor and Sheriff's Office.

This morning the boy, a resident of the Olde Morrison Place neighborhood in unincorporated King County, will be arraigned in juvenile court on three charges of residential burglary. He was arrested May 14.

The incident May 7 with the sleeping woman was one of at least three known cases, which started May 1, and in which the boy allegedly broke into the homes to view pornography and rifle through women's underwear.

In the case of the sleeping woman, the boy is accused of lifting the blankets covering her.

She and her husband chased the boy, caught him and confronted his mother.

In a May 2 case, a woman in the neighborhood returned to her home and discovered that X-rated Web sites were on her computer.

She and her husband suspect that someone had gone through her drawer and a dirty laundry basket and handled her lingerie.

Law enforcement officials learned that the boy's interest in viewing pornographic sites was so intense that his parents had disconnected their Internet service, said Sgt. Kevin Fagerstrom, sheriff's spokesman.

Deputies eventually obtained a search warrant.

Last week, they inspected the boy's bedroom, where they found a stash of items hidden in a toy drum near some stuffed animals, court papers say.

"We located several pairs of women's underwear and bikini-style bathing suits that do not appear to belong to any member of his immediate family," Fagerstrom said.

"We are very concerned about what this young man's future may hold."

Makes you wonder what his story is!

Damn a sex offender at 13, I wonder if he was sexually abused as a young child or if porn is really that addictive. I'm thinking maybe the parents needed to get this kid help long ago.

Scary shit though you waking up and somebody is standing up over you, if he was bold enough to touch her he was ramping up to full blown sexual assault.
