What can I say?

I have been asked to be part of the big lay off running through our company and I returned two weeks ago from holiday to hear that I indeed will be layed off.

That is the YIPPEE part of the story, as I am so tired of Parisians and their strikes and their "we are so glamorous" attitude, while in fact they are just pathetic in their over trendy suits.

Here's the deal. I still haven't heard any details yet and that sucks. I wanna be outa here YESTERDAY and still no details about when or what.

On top of it, it rains. I like rain. I want to be out there, with me headset playing A Forest by The Cure and feel gloomy and happy at the same time.

Where's my Puppy when you need him?

I got allot of work done on my NFO fan site which I'm very happy with. Yep, a constructive w/end, made me feel good. Tell you what? Lets make a pack, next week we will both have a good weekend yeah?

Since you asked, I had a good weekend. I had class, then spent Saturday afternoon getting dirty in my yard. We got lotsa stuff planted though...then a happy hour and then more yard work (mowing the lawn drunk is funny, heehee)

Sunday was a PERFECT day. It was the AIDSWalk in Mpls. I volunteered there in the morning and then did the walk in the afternoon. The weather was perfect, I saw lotsa great people, I had met my goal in fundraising and then had an AWESOME dinner when it was all over.

Oh yeah, and I had a new roommate move into my house...it was a great weekend!


ps...if you need to come over there and kick some ass, I will Gooey! I can be one tough kitty when I'm pissed!
