25th hour by Spike Lee It has been finally released in Spain just 2 weeks ago.
What a formidable film it is!!. Great script, superb dialogue, outstanding cast and the best final 10 minutes in a film that I have ever seen. Anyone agree or, erm, disagree? I Spike Lee

I didn't seee this film in theatres and I really wanted to
But,here in the States,it comes out on DVD this Tuesday so I will definitely check it out.I'm going CRAZY to find out what happens during the last ten minutes!! I heard folks say that it has a shocking, provocative ending.

It really didn't do much for me. I think it told an interesting story and I certainly wasn't bored - I just felt like it wanted to be more profound than it actually was. That, and Spike Lee needed to get some 9/11 imagery under his belt for prosperity's sake.

well, the film certainly did a lot for me, I found it really intelligent, thought provoking and very moving at times I also think those references to 9/11 were truly heartfelt, but that´s just me.

I do feel the film wanted to be a bit more poignant than it was -- sometimes Spike's execution can be a little clumsy. But he's a mastermind, and I think 25th Hour is a wonderful film.
I found the ending not so shocking or provocative as simultaneously hopeful and deeply saddening. It stuck with me for weeks. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
