my favorite thing in the whole wide world: the blues...

listening to buddy guy's "don't tell me about the blues"...

saw buddy guy a few weeks ago in concert, and i've only touched my guitar a handful of times since then... when you see this muthafucka play, you know that there has never been a better lead player in the history of the guitar... when i saw b.b., i thought i had seen the pinnacle, but buddy took it to a whole other level... everytime i've played the guitar since then, all i can think about is how fuckin' great buddy guy is... suddenly, it puts things into a whole different perspective as to where i stand with the guitar, and how much progress there is to be made...

this buddy's response to all these sorry bastards who have rocked up the blues and make millions of dollars singing other peoples blues...
