It's not like a dog suddenly becomes that much easier to take care of once you whack their tail off.

Part of a dogs way of expressing love for you is by wagging their tail in excitement. Why would you want to remove it?

Phil

i can see that there was reason behind it once upon a time, but i think those days are long gone.

i don't see people complaining about lambs getting their tails removed though.

my corgi pup came that way because it's a breed requirement for pembrokes. it's kind of funny, because she wags her whole butt when she's really excited!

I don't think so.

Jack Russels, Boxers, Dobermans and Staffordshire Bull terriers etc. all look stupid with tails anyway.

Ear clipping is bad too.

It's bad enough that humans feel the need to mutilate themselves thu plastic surgery and all...but animals should not have to go thru it sad

I'm not talking about putting a stripe down the dog. Just cutting his tail off to make him look cool.
