TAKEN- the Steven Spielberg produced TV series

I have just watched the first two episodes of TAKEN, this Steven SPielberg produced TW series that is so much fun to watch!

What are your thoughts about this series?

Taken spans spans five decades and four generations, centering on three families: the Keys, Crawfords, and Clarkes. World War II veteran Russell Keys is plagued by nightmares of his abduction by aliens during the war; the Roswell incident transforms Owen Crawford from ambitious Air Force captain to evil shadow government conspirator; the unhappily married Sally Clarke is impregnated by an alien visitor. As the decades go by, the heirs of each are affected by the machinations of the aliens, culminating with the birth of Allie Keys, who is the final product of the aliens' experimentation and holds the key to their future.

This is Joel Gretsch. He does not come off very handsome in pictures but on the screen he's a hotty. Lots of animalistic attraction. Mjummie!

And he is a good actor too!

I watched it on BBC a few months back.
The show has it ups and downs. Most ups are at the beginning of the series, the downs are at the end.

It's good how the story develops but sometimes the 'speed' slows down to much. I didn't want to miss it.

Shame that there not more often series like this on TV.

But with all the action 'in front of you', Enjoy! I think you will.

Erik.

ps. it's Steven Spielberg not Spileberg... wink

I saw this when it aired in the U.S. back in December. I watched every episode faithfully, and then on the night of the last show, I had a performance, so I missed the entire ending! I still don't know what happened.

They aired it on the BBC recently, and I was going to watch it again to make sure I didn't miss the ending again, and then I just never kept track of when it was on, and then I left the country when the last episode was on.

So, I'm still in the dark about the end.

The ending is too complex to mention it here in a few words. Too much happens during the entire serie. Plus it would spoil all the fun of watching. (don't worry... I don't even recall how it all ends)

Maybe the DVDs are for rent too? because it's something you must see. (Have saids too much already?)

poeple... maybe it's a Freudian typo.

Nope. That would indicate I am obsessed with poep. And I am not.

it also could mean that the fase in your childhood has been disturbed or not fully developed. What fase? anal fase.
I think this has gone far enough now.

Psycho analyse Freud: anale fase (anderhalf tot 3 jaar); dat is de fase van het zindelijk worden; het kind smeert alles graag onder de poep als het de kans krijgt; de anus is het lustorgaan
