i am very, very pissed off...this fine morning i leave my house to get the bus so as to go to school..i yank myself out of bed at dawn, (well at around 7,) i rush around like a maniac, i huff and puff all the way to the bus stop telling myself that hey, all of this is worth an education..i get there and the big "EN GREVE" meaning Strikz, banner is up there laughing in my face.
i hitchhike to school, telling myself that i can't afford to miss class seeing i have my final exams soon ...get to class and the same stupid banner is up everywhere in the school and the teachers are gone..gone..gone...

everyone is on strike here for a million different reasons, all at different times and in different places...
you walk around this country and you've got policemen, firemen, teachers, bus drivers, ambulances, nurses, doctors...all strinking for another reason...it makes me think that there is somehing very wrong with the way our conutry is run, or with the way we've organised ourselves.

not that i wish to put down the reasons for which each person has chosen to go on strike but i have heard, and strongly agree that
"protest, like fashion, must never be predictable..."
and all these strikes are becomeing very, very predictable...

is there not another way to make your opinions heard? i mean the strike is sooo Passé..lol
