What a game

The Lakers lost a close one 96 to 94. Robert Horry had an in and out heartbreak at the end. It was a good exciting game. I don't usually praise Lakers losses but this game was good.

Oh hell yeah---Lakes had a lot of heart ( and fuck ups). Came back form 25 something down?? Come on now. Kobe got hot again for a bit. Shaw. Plus Robs went in, just bounced out.Im proud of them. They made it a 2-3 point game from 25 etc. clapping

Horry's futility in this series and in most of the playoffs is bewildering. The Spurs dodged a MAJOR bullet with that ball bouncing completely out of the net, because they know Horry's history - yet they left him wide open like everybody always does. It was the right decision to dish it off to Horry, but it's just symbolic of how his individual post season is going.

Which is why I dont think it was the right decision to give it to him. But I didnt think they meant to, but that they(Kobe) had no choice.I know the final 3 pt-er si Horrys thing, running cold or hot but I wouldn't have put it on him.

But look at it this way; Kobe was going to be covered in that situation because he was torching them in the second half and helped erase that big deficit - they were going to smother Kobe, and they did...so who else was the most logical conclusion to give the ball to?

Of course if they wanted to get a foul going inside they could have gone inside to Shaq, but although Shaq is better at free throws than he used to be there is no guarantee he would have made both potential buckets, or even one bucket if he tied it up with a shot.

It was a good shot by Horry. It just came back out. 9 times out of 10 that shot goes down. Like the winner Horry is he took the shot without hesitation and gave us a great chance at winning. nod
