read on...

general note about the peasants is that they are not very smart (with one or two notable exceptions). As a community, they are easily led into any trap, swindle or scam being run by the Sheriff, and believe in idiotic superstitions like the Worksop Egg Fairy

They are EVERYWHERE.

They just look different in every country.

In Holland they are called Johhny (pronounced sssjonnie) and Anita. They personify the stereotypical Dutch peasants.

Any Anita will have outgrown bleeched hair and a bad perm.

Johhny most times has L.O.VE./H.A.T.E. tattooed on his knuckles.

Johhny looks remarkably like Proffessor Yaffle from children's TV programme Bagpuss

or indeed Arsene Wenger, manager of Arsenal Football Club

This Johhny is also not a REAL Johhny.
The REAL Johnnt would have slickened hair and at least one tattoo.
And a gold ring through his ear AND a thumb ring.

THUMB RING are very PEASANTLY
