I'm still homeless... I've moved 5 times now, from cardboard box, to motel 6, to marriot, to studio-efficiency, and finally settled in a short-term rental townhouse. Finally the dust is beginning to settle, but all my stuff is in storage and we have no internet. 
I'm excited about my new house, though, which becomes mine at the end of this month. No home-owners association and associated fees, a real fenced-in yard for the dogs to run around in, and a lower monthly mortgage! 
It's been weird roughing it for this long...but not as bad as it sounds. I've missed y'all.   But ya know, it's good to take a break...  Fear is the mind-killer. | |
