Well, Prince did "Diamonds & Pearls" in '91, and "The Symbol Album" in ,92.. so, yeah.. I was probably listening to Prince.

Michael's "Dangerous"...

I remember a lot of the "Seattle Sound" coming out... Nirvana. nod

I was going through a dancy prancey phase at the time - I was big into Annie Lennox, Bjork, Seal, TTD's "Symphony or Damn", Thrill Kill Kult, and I forget what else...I just remembered I was big on the dance music.

a lot of techno, Prince (of course), Lenny Kravitz, Harry Connick Jr., and a little bit of the alternative music scene (Barnaked Ladies, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, you know -- gunge rock -- for a change).

I think that exactly 10 years ago I must've been sitting in
my room playing Guns N Roses "Don't You Cry" 1000 times over

Geez, I've never played that song anymore. It popped into my
head all of a sudden yesterday. Now this thread reminds me
of it again. Weird.

Well hey, gimme a break, I was 10 years old.

Jill Jones, Sheila E, The Family & The Time, Ingrid Chavez.

Why? Because I found a record shop in Canterbury that had all of their albums on vinyl or tape for 50p each! So I bought the lot. It was the first time I heard any associated artists stuff, so it kind of dominated my listening for a bit.

As for other artists, New Order's 'Republic' was my favourite album of summer '93. Also liked Gabrielle's 'Dreams' a lot.

Having had a quick look at Now 24/25, I also remember I spent most of the summer dancing to Snap, 2 Unlimited, Take That, Robin S & Sybil in Kent's naff gay clubs. Ah, memories...
