Another of my specialities is Swedish Meatballs, or my homemade dish of fillet salmon with fresh seafood baked in the oven with a special spicy tomato sauce I do.. Oooh! I love Swedish Meatballs! But, I don't like seafood... so I will be eating all of the meatballs until you have to roll me to the couch!  I don't like sea food either, and I love meatballs with spaghetti. Or Spaghetti Bolognes the meat cooked in wine...I'm getting hungry! Vodka Pasta or I make a wicked Chilli Con Carne! CHILI! Oh... how I would LOVE some chili about now! | |

Rings... I love rings! My collection isn't very large anymore, as I sold many of them to help me and the kids move. Though, there are certain rings that I wouldn't get rid of. I also was forced to collect snow globes, because I mentioned liking them one year. That must have been painful..  Having to do that..It was worth it though I bet! I'm glad you managed to keep the ones that had sentimental value!
Snow globes are cool! It was very, very, very hard for me to part with them. But, it was certainly worth it. I have eight that I will never part with; four of them being ones that my dad had bought my mom when they were married... she gave them to me when I was 12 and I've worn them ever since, up until last year, three are ones that my grandmother bought for me (one for graduation, another just because I wanted it, and the third being the one that you may have seen in my pictures, that my grandma went in with me on for Christmas), and the last one is my baby ring. Those are the ones I hung on to.
Snow globes are GREAT! I just didn't plan on collecting them! I collect the really cheap, tacky, plastic snow globes that you get when you go on holiday somewhere. Like I have one from San Francisco, with a plastic cable car inside, one from Paris, from Alaska, Mpls., and another from Loch Ness with a green loch ness monster inside, etc. See, those would be cool to have too, but all I have are the Christmas ones... oodles of them. Did you get all of them when you went to those places? Oh, I have a X-mas one too. I have more snow globes as well, and most of them I got myself, and others were from family members and friends that got them for me when they were on vacation. Isn't it funny how if you say you like something, or mention once that you are interested in having a certain thing, people just keep buying you any and everything of that theme for years to come? And you feel too rude to say finally, "OK DAMMIT! Just stop with the --- already! I'm OVER IT!"  I like that... getting them from places you've visited or others have! Yeah... tell me about it. I have issues with Unicorns. When I was maybe, oh... eight, I mentioned my like of them and I still get unicorn things from time to time. I fee the same way!  You mean you've been enduring hundreds of unicorn related gifts all these years!!  Oh man, I might have had to draw the line by now. Although, I am a collector of all things snail, and I always get something snail-related. I've come to expect it. By the time I'm 50, I'll need a dump-truck just to move all my snails around.Well, I can't bring myself to tell my grandma (who is the only culprit now of giving me the unicorn things) that I grew up.
Ooooh... yes, start saving for the dump-truck now... you may need two by then! | |
