A few years back when I divorced I needed a place to rebuild and start over. Create new memories for my peace of mind. That spot represents the rebuilding of myself that went on internally. I place all special objects and new fun memories on display there.

Rings... I love rings! My collection isn't very large anymore, as I sold many of them to help me and the kids move. Though, there are certain rings that I wouldn't get rid of.

I also was forced to collect snow globes, because I mentioned liking them one year.

It was very, very, very hard for me to part with them. But, it was certainly worth it. I have eight that I will never part with; four of them being ones that my dad had bought my mom when they were married... she gave them to me when I was 12 and I've worn them ever since, up until last year, three are ones that my grandmother bought for me (one for graduation, another just because I wanted it, and the third being the one that you may have seen in my pictures, that my grandma went in with me on for Christmas), and the last one is my baby ring. Those are the ones I hung on to.

Snow globes are GREAT! I just didn't plan on collecting them!

I have more snow globes as well, and most of them I got myself, and others were from family members and friends that got them for me when they were on vacation.
