I finally got the nerve yesterday to ask this cute guy that works on my floor on a lunch date. We've been flirting for weeks now, talking in the elevator and what not. So I casually asked him if he'd like to go have lunch on Friday (today) and he said: "I'm so glad you asked because I couldn't get the courage to do it..." blah, blah blah.

So this dude (whom we'll call Jake) just called and said that he was really attracted to me and that it was just "too tempting," and that he feared he might cheat on his boyfriend. Alls I wanted was a lunch date...

I just do not understand the gay community. This is what happens when you wait so damn long to come out of the fucking closet. It's like I'm in high school and/or college and starting out in the dating scene. I feel clueless.
