You would think a freaking phone company would have a reliable answering system... I recently switched my phone service over to SBC so I could get their DSL. So far it has been a complete nightmare because they keep loosing my account information and DSL order. But the most ironic thing is their phone system SUCKS!
I just had to redail their number 6 times before I was able to stay on hold. Every time I would call, I would get the answering message that all agents are currently busy and my call will be answered in the order recieved. Then it would cycle through a few other recordings, beep a few times, and then the volume would drop incredibly low. I almost thought they hung up on me. About 5 minutes into waiting it would just disconnect. WTF?! This is not a good sign. To make matters worse, I get telemarketing calls from them EVERY DAY asking me to switch back to their service.
