sadly I doubt it. George Lucas has lost it. Fabulous CGI does not make up for lousy acting and a shit plot.

I remember the Ewok tv movie.

I was wondering when Han and Chewy were going to be introduced.

I've suspected that Chewie would be putting in an appearance in Episode III for some time now. I predict we will also meet a adolescent Han Solo as well, and see how their relationship begins.

Remember that you read it here first! I also predict that Episode III is going to be the darkest installment yet, and may even eclipse Empire for sheer tension. Remember my words!!!

How are they going to fit all these and future plot lines in one movie? Its either going to be brilliant or a mess.

I was very excited when I heard this news. I hope they tie him in well, instead of making some cheesy coincidence out of it. From what I've heard, Amidala will be pregnant in part of this film. Since Luke, Leah and Han seemed about the same age, I doubt if they can tie Han into this film, although lord only knows with the way ol' Georgey tells stories nowadays...

My hope is that Ep 3 will be brilliant. Dark, moody, tense and desperate. It HAS to be. All the jedi die and Anakin becomes Darth Vader. If this isn't the darkest of all the movies, I will be so disillusioned.

This is probably old news, but James Earl Jones is signed on to provide his voice for the movie, so I'm assuming Anakin may put on the fateful suit in this movie...

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that last part. TESB is a damn classic. Nothing can touch that scene where Luke and Anakin fight in Cloud City. Lucas has gone nuts.
He'll probably have Chewie's first appearance in another godamm podrace. (please God no... pray) But I agree that it'll be darker than the first or it'll try to be.

I was speaking to my buddy last week and the problem we thought with the CGI stuff is that it's too clean. Too perfect and sterile. It really shows up on the DVD version. But I'm still going to go see it. I hope George Lucas proves me wrong.

Creating tension is gonna be tough, considering we know the outcome anyway..I don't think we'll see Solo at all. From what i've read, Wookies and other aliens are enslaved by the Empire, so i think that's what we'll see towards the end of the film in relation to Chewie.

Star Wars deserves the best possible finale.I hope George can really pull this off.

No, Han is older than Leia or Luke, by about ten years (which is why he constantly refers to Luke as "kid"). I think you will see the history of Han & Chewie's relationship, as well as the first meeting between a young Solo and Boba Fett (who is slated to be in the next film).

You are correct that the Wookies become enslaved by the Empire, but it has been established that Han rescued Chewbacca from that fate. This is the reason Chewbacca has sworn a life debt to Han, and never leaves his side. My gut instinct is that we'll see this in the next film (of course, I could be wrong, but I told everyone that we'd see the origin of Boba Fett in Episode II, and no one believed me).

Well, I obviously don't have a problem with all the CGI. I think that it has its limits, but so did the models from the first films. We, as adults, remember the sense of awe we had as kids, but don't realise how bad those effects really were (ask any kid today, and they'll tell you they think the new films look way better than the originals. My kid sister was complaining after Episode II that the original trilogy just looked too cheesy by comparison).

I alao think that most Star Wars fans have forgotten that Lucas has always intended these films to be primarily for kids. He envisioned them as old Saturday Morning Serial style flicks, and that's exactly what they are.

Empire is my favorite, hands down, but I loved AOTC way more than I did ROTJ (which is just as kiddie-fide as TPM, with the presence of the Ewoks). Do note that I said it MAY eclipse Empire for sheer tension, not that it WILL. I do think, no matter how you look at it, that it will be the darkest installment, just by the nature of the story itself.

This would be pretty cool, but I don't think Han Solo will be in Episode III...

I also predict that Episode III is going to be the darkest installment yet, and may even eclipse Empire for sheer tension. Remember my words!!!

This has been said numerous times and even confirmed by George Lucas around the time Episode I was being filmed,
Episode I would be an "introduction" kind of movie.
Episode II would be "love story" kind of movie.
Episode III will be a "very dark, kill all jedi" kind of movie.
(These are quotes from George Lucas himself)

Well obviously...
He'll probably be the one to kill Mace Windu and avenge his fathers death since all Jedi must die...
(I know this is not correct since Mace Windu escapes and gets into all sorts of other adventures, but George Lucas probably will kill him so there are no "holes" in the original trilogy.)
