My first article is being published !! YEAH Just got an e-mail from the editor that they accepted my first scientific article

We were peer-reviewed twice, it's gonna be published in the journal of Bioinformatics, Oxford university press. You don't scare me; i got kids | |

That's awesome! I've never been published in any peer-reviewed journals, but I have edited other author's works that were. It's really a thrill.

Congrats!
Although I had my first article published last year, it was not distributed very widely (I don't think it was distributed outside of Indiana), and I was a co-author, listed second. My first "solo" article--which will be published in a nationally-distributed scholarly law journal--is slated for publication later this year, so like you, I'm pretty excited. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

Congrats! I just had another article of mine appear in a peer reviewed journal recently too! (It was accepted like 3 years ago!  Academia is slow as hell!)

You should post it here and we can all comment on it. An Org review! Well, i can post the abstract later (I had to transfer copyrights to the journal  ) so I'll have to wait before i can make the abstract publically available.
