If your spoused "turned" ugly, it is only because your perception of him/her has changed. Have you ever noticed that looks are dependent on personality? There were the "hot" girls in high school who I didn't find vaguely attractive due to the fact that I didn't like their personalities, whereas overlooked girls grew beautiful in my eyes with my knowledge of their character.
That said, if you were to marry someone, it should be because you are in love. Being in love with someone necessitates liking his/her personality, which in turn means finding him/her attractive. Therefore, if your spouse "turns" ugly, it is because you have probably fallen out of love and need marriage counseling.  | |

I still don't understand this "getting ugly" business. It's not getting old b/c aging is natural & he'd still be attractive to me (grey is sexy, wrinkles add character). It's not time spent b/c I'd never get tired of looking @ the face of the person I love. It could be getting fat :O but I'll leave that on another thread So what happens? Does their face get smashed into a wall?  Do they destroy their nose w/ cocaine ala Yasmine Bleeth? How in the world does somebody just "get ugly"??
