I think ya just roll with the punches. Anywhere you live, some kind of natural disaster is bound to be more prone.

For example, why the fuck do people live in earthquake county when an earthquake can (and does) hit at any moment?

I have no idea!

And I'm in the fucking middle of earthquake county!

I was going to say that too. At least tornados are more hit and miss than a sure thing. And I think I'd much rather take my chances with a tornado rather than having the ground shake!

But an Earthquake is random...not SYSTEMATIC as in...have a season?! Are we seeing the point?

Where is that logic...they are both bad...one comes once or twice a year...and when you narrow it down to your hometown...that is even LESS liklier to occur...IE: I've been in L.A. four years...just one tremor I have experienced! Live four years in Tornado Alley...you got about AT LEAST 80 in that timeframe...you do the math! And THAT IS ON THE LOW-END!

Yes, but if you see the sky darken, or turn a really funny color, it's a pretty good hint you need to get your ass into the basement!!!

At least I live in a part of the country where folks have basements. Not like folks that live in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas where basements aren't as prevalent.

And you can protect yourself by taking shelter with a tornado. Where's the shelter from an earthquake?

I am here wondering why people who KNOW...DID YOU SEE THAT...KNOW tornadoes are DEFINITELY...DID YOU SEE THAT TOO??..."DEFINITELY" know...there is that know word again...whew...they "know" that tornadoes are coming at the same time EVERY FUCKIN YEAR!!!...why would you continue to live there!!! Hey I live in the Central Valley and there have been sightings of tornados even there, if your gonna die in one there's nothing you can do about it, when it's your time to go it's your time to go.

I've always wondered why tornados destroy houses everytime.

Do you use the same construction systems once and again?

Have you read "3 little pigs"?

In San Fransisco there is the chance of earthquakes, in Holland we live below sea-level. What is the problem? There is always gonna b a downside of living somewhere.

HURRICANE

now that's some shit, I live along the gulf coast and when a hurricane crosses from the ocean to there, all hell breaks lose.

I survived one last November and was without power for four days and it took two weeks to clean up but I'd rather that because with a hurricane you do have time to board up and get the fuck out.

Tornado and earthquake...hmmm...fuck that shit.
