SIX FEET DEEP

How many of you watched the telecasted memorial Sunday for Laci Peterson? and would you want a memorial for yourself to be telecasted for all to see?

By the time the 11 o'clock news (I caught the 4, 5 and 6 o'clock news also) came around I was really tired of it!! I feel awful for the family and the last thing I wanted to see was this womans baby pictures... I already knew more about Laci than I needed to. I am not trying to sound insincere, really... and no I wouldnt want my memorial televised, I have all the sympathy I need with my loved ones, dont need it from total strangers!
He calls me "Holi" cuz he says everyday w/ me is like a Holiday...

If the family didn't want it televised then I suppose it never would have happened but alot of people felt like they knew Laci after all of the attention this case caused and they wanted to pay their respects also. Especially the people of her hometown "and mine too".

I just hope that one day, all missing person cases get as much attention as this one has.

I agree. Makes me curious why they would hold a public funeral. It's starting to come across like they like the publicity.

It was basically held public for the people of her hometown.

I can understand it being held publicly. I just have a hard time with it being televised, and all the media attention it got.

I think her family wanted it that way.

i live in sacramento which is very near to modesto where laci was from, and it's on the news an extreme amount here. i really think it's up to the family on if they want the memorial on tv or not. i suppose they felt her death and babies death touched so many lives that they needed to do that? can't speak for them.

as for myself, i leave it up to my family as to if the memorial would be televised or not. but i prefer privacy of my loved ones and myself to a certain degree.
