How Many of Y'all are Unemployed?

I recently lost my job, and as much as I'm ashamed to admit it, I'm kind of enjoying it. redface It's nice not having to get up at 6:00 every morning, catch the bus to work, get into work and have to deal with all the bullshit and politics that go on there. I think I could get used to this real quick! It's nice having the freedom to do what I want, whenever I want. I know the "niceness" of it will wear off, but I am enjoying it right now. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I was laid off for over six months and let me tell you it rocked. headbang

but now that I have this new gig and it's really, really, really, really, hard to focus. I get easily distracted now, as I never used to before...

and now I'm considering doing something else career wise because while I was off I realized that not everybody works 10 hour days...

You've been given a chance to look at what you were doing. Being unemployed gives you that opportunity, to look at what you did and what you want to do next. Do you want to get stuck in the machine or make your own paradise.

Look at it as an opportunity to concentrate on YOU. Your health, your spirit, your values, what's more important to you, take care of all those things you meant to do. It's about YOU.

Sure the money thing will stress you out. But you'll realize whay. Too many credit cards, why? Too many things in your life? Hmmm. You will learn how to deal with those kinds of things in a different manner.

I call it a spirit break, before the machine breaks the spirit.

I didn't know I told anyone we were planning of possibly going to prague??? shocked: Whos says you are gonna like us as travelling buddies? smile

Still not sure - he's away now - and I really miss him terribly- which is ridiculous as he is only gone for 4 days. But today my bankcard didn't work - i received a note that my wages still had to be paid. the ones from March and november. I'm drowning here!!

It sure does, doesn't it? sad My theory on it is that 1) you either need to find a company where you can put up with their politics and other bullshit until you either a) find a better job opportunity, or b) retire, and 2) a company that will put up with you as well until either a) or b) happens in your life. Sad to say, my attitude towards bosses is not very positive due to things that have happened to me in my working life. shake

Yeah I'm in this boat, but it won't be for long because I don't like being broke even though all I have to do is act like a spoiled child who don't get anything just to get what I want. I want to fen for self now.
