sometimes it's easier than going into the details...
a typical scerio when things are wrong and a person is not feeling well: "u ok?" "i'm just feeling kinda down," "not feeling too well" etc "what's wrong?" "i don't really feel like talking about it"... ok, if things stopped there and the other person could respect that, things would be fine... but generally the other person's curiousity eats the hell out of them and they bug the piss out the person who's not feeling well... so, most times, it's easier to act like everything is fine... Just tell them you don't feel like talking about it. If they keep bugging you, tell them they are getting on your nerves with all of the questions. I have no problem doing just that.

What if you are happy and people just insist that you are not? So...how's everybody doing?

SuperC said: Why would someone act like they are happy? Or fake like they had a good time? Doesn't this type of behaviour do more harm than good?
obviously yes. but, a lot of people deliberately deceive other people for various reasons. which is why i say NEVER, NEVER TRUST ANYONE

Some people fake being happy because they know that is the only way to keep from giving in to a dangerous depression...to save them from themselves.
