I was supposed to have mine out when I was 5. I remember going to hospital and being scared shitless. I went to bed and was coughing all night and then my parents came and got me in the middle of the night because I had this cough. So I never had them out. Thanks for sharing. | |

Similar story. Only that I started coughing in the surgery room when they had only removed one. So now I'm even more assymmetric.  | |

I had tonsilitis when I was seven and had to have a tonsil transplant. A very common procedure in the 70's, not so popular now. Everything went fine, except I now speak with a Welsh accent. | |

On a related note, how many of you still have your wisdom teeth? I got mine yanked out the summer before senior year in high school. Had complications for months afterwards. Hurt like fucking hell!  I mean, like, where is the sun? | |
