TRON

Okay, going to bed for real now.

Feel free to go about your business. biggrin

Thanks for reminding me of what I already suspected: that I'm entering a full-blown Cure kick!

So Carrie, what are your favorite Cure albums and songs?

How long have you been into them?

Ever see them live?

Where do they rank in your favorite artists?

I can't pick a favorite album, but songs would include: Catch, untitled, 6 different ways, Open, Trust, Close to Me, gosh... the Blood, unplugged Boys Don't Cry & unplugged Letter to Elise, the 13th...

Saw them on the Wish tour in '92 from 10th row main floor, but I'm a short gal. sad

They are probably my favoritest band. Along with the Pixies and Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven.

But my whole lifelong music obsession started with first Prince, then the Cure.

What about Disintegration!!?

Same here pretty much. When I was in junior high and people would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would just tell them, "I want to be in The Cure".

It's hynotic to play on guitar.

funny story.

when disintegration first came out i would put it on as i went to bed. i found it so relaxing (as you said hypnotic) that i would soon drift off into sleep.

anyway, a few months after it had been released my sister took me to see the cure (one of my xmas presents) and every time they played a track from disintergration i started nodding off! redface
Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
