Daredevil Born Again
Excellent revival of the brilliant Netflix show that brings the characters into the MCU. Easily the best thing Marvel has done in a long time. Probably since the original Daredevil show. And in a bizarre twist, the move to Disney Plus has only seen the show get even more adult than it ever was on Netflix. The level of violence is just crazy. Especially in the season finale. That shit was just wild.

Andor Season 2
Only 3 episodes in and I'm loving it so far. I feel it's the kind of show people would enjoy more if they've seen the Clone Wars and Rebels animated shows. You get a better appreciation for how everything comes together. What I like most about it is that it doesn't feel like Star Wars. Star Wars is very much a children's story. Andor is definitely not. Especially when you have scenes depicting attempted rape and stuff. I don't know what the executives at Disney are smoking this year but their shows have become a lot more mature than you'd expect.

I haven't watched The Last Of Us because I did play the games and I don't need to see the same story told again in a worse way. I've seen clips of it though and wow, it's some of the worst casting I've ever seen. So I don't think I could ever bring myself to watch it.

If you're looking for a great show based on a videogame, I'd highly recommend Fallout. It's not based on any specific game in the series. Instead, it's a show which takes place within the continuity of the game series and yet still requires no knowledge of the games to enjoy. Plus, it's got Walton Goggins. And he's a revelation in it. Even though he does just seem to be playing a combination of his character from Justified and Timothy Olyphants character from Justified

I did watch 'Fallout' and it was actually pretty good.

"...exploding cocks...! lol

Speaking of Goggins, the last season of 'The White Lotus' was kinda lame, save for Sam Rockwell.

I've watched the scene I assume you're talking about and seriously, the game does it so much better. I don't know how familiar a lot of people on here are with videogames in general but if you own a PlayStation or a PC, I'd recommend playing both Last Of Us games.

Six episodes into Andor season 2 and I can probably say that this whole storyline (Andor season 1&2, Rogue One) is easily my favourite Star Wars things. Clone Wars and Rebels are absolutely amazing and I can never decide between them which one is better. But this whole Andor arc is just a step above anything else in a galaxy far, far away.

So, how is it a "game" when it's already written?
Is it like, "...would you like to do this?"-press 'yes or no'???
Are you choosing decisions for people in the story?
Is there a whole different outcome for the "losers" within the game?
Wait, is it just a "kill the zombies" type thing with mindless shooting?

The games, like a lot of games nowadays, are kind of like interactive movies. You play through some parts like sneaking through an enemy camp and stealthily taking out enemies for example. These segments then lead into cutscenes where the story elements of the game are presented. Each cutscene in these games are acted out by the actual voice actors on a sound stage as they are fully motion captured to allow their performances to come through in the scene.

Think of it like this. You know how in a movie there are action scenes and there are dialogue scenes? In these kinds of games, you play the action scenes and watch the dialogue scenes as the story beats are laid out. There are no dialogue options to choose from in The Last Of Us games because the writers are telling the story they want to tell. In other games, like The Wolf Among Us or Life Is Strange, pretty much every line of dialogue your character says is chosen by you and can greatly impact how the story plays out, leading to multiple different possible endings. But The Last Of Us is strictly linear storytelling.

I'm gonna watch Reacher just because that dude is hot as fuck, and genuinely seems like a down to earth guy. LOL

I watched season one of TLoU, but I felt that was fine, and didn't return to season 2.

I am so ready for the rest of THMT. Season one is the novel. Second two and beyond is new material, thankfully with Margaret Atwood as Creative Consultant. I do hope the series ends like the book with the flash forward, etc. (That's not a spoiler since I didn't say what the flash forward was.)

Gotta get to Andor season 2. Moving and such lately have made me wait so I have the mental wherewithal to watch it.

I watched the final season of The Connors, good ending and such. I still watch Family Guy and Masked Singer.

We also watch The Righteous Gemstones, Hacks... probably a few others I can't remember just yet.

Neagan 'N' Maggie together again.
They're just beating the dead dead, but, of course,

i HAVE to watch it dead

I never watched any of the Walking Dead. For a number of reasons. I'm not great with horror movies and stuff. It also looks very silly. Plus, I can't stand that Norman Reedus guy. And, kind of like The Last Of Us, I feel like the Walking Dead show just can't be as good as the Walking Dead game. Even though I know they are two completely different things and not related in any way other than both being based off the same comic book. Although, having said that, I know the character of Michionne was in both the show and the game and I think she might have even been played by the same actress in both. But I'm still pretty sure they're not supposed to be canon with each other.

I also really like the Daredevil series, especially the "Born Again" series in the comics; and I agree with you, Season 2 of Andor is great, rewatching it will probably reveal a lot of interesting details that I missed the first time!

I'm about to lose my shit when The Handmaid's Tale. This week's episode, the next to the last forever, was ...well, I guess it's utlimately what we've been waiting for.

I only hope they do the jump forward in the show they way the book does at the very end. I'd like to see the future of the united states.

Finished Andor season 2 last night and wow, what a show. Not just a great show by Star Wars standards, this is a great show FULL STOP. If you've seen Rogue One then you kind of knew from the beginning how it would end but the journey there is fantastic. Everything from the writing to the acting to how it all ties in to the wider lore is so much better than we're used to getting in Star Wars that I kind of fear that they've set the bar too high for whatever follows.

As a side note, the actress who plays Kleya is destined for stardom. She's absolutely magnificent.

A little bit of closure, but still not really "done".
Shows like this and/or (see what i did there, Shelly Mac biggrin ) "The Last Of Us" where alot of people already know the end result are why they're interesting to me
cuz i never played that game, read that book or even remember that movie.

An example:
If a new movie is "coming soon", i never watch any trailers before the release.

Yeah I only watch trailers for movies that I'm not sure if I want to see. If I know I'm going to watch a movie, I won't bother looking at the trailer because I like to go in fresh.

I never watch previews for the next episode. I started that in the 90s when I was hooked on Melrose Place. I wanted it to be a surprise.

I've watched the movie. It felt... light compared to the series. ha

Yes it's good. Helen Mirren is a mess. Evil heifa. I'm loving it.

Severance is an addiction. Twiching for season 3.

Yes it's a medical drama done 24 style every episode is 1hr of the day.

Impatiently waiting for Foundation S3 and IWTV S3

Oh yeah Paradise was great too until the very last episode. Still worth the watch. And The Residence is fun and funny but kinda deflates at the end but it was a fun ride. Hope for S2

Spoilers for those who haven't seen it:

Episode 10 gave the resolution people wanted. And it gave me things I wanted to see.

That Gilead was falling, and that the plane blowing up was not a one-off event. I was disappointed that she didn't get Hannah back. Janine getting Charlotte back was not as big of a pay-off. June's words at the end was from the beginning of the novel, which was based on a narrative they found on cassette tapes well after Gilead's fall. So we see her starting that.

The Testaments should be good because the novel shows that Aunt Lydia wasn't as pro-Gilead as portrayed. She readily worked against Gilead, but still held religious beliefs.

I wish they had flashed forward like the book, but that could've served as more condensed episodes this season, to get to that point of resolution and have the flash forward. I get why they did what they did, and overall I would say I'm very satisfied with it wrapping up the way it did. It was action packed, a roller coaster of emotions, poignant, and purposeful.

Every day when I awake, the greatest of joys is mine: that of being ME.
