"I wanted to have time with everybody. I'll have a lot of (black) friends there, too. A lot more of the seniors are going to be at the mixed one." 2.)P.S. at no point did you see me say; Black people who speak like White people get treated like White people, although they may be openly accepted by them. 3.)The fact of the matter is that the whites will be the ones with a CHOICE about wich prom they WANT TO attend. This same choice is not afforded the black students. Oh my god!! There is a choice for someone to attend either a white only prom or a mixed prom!! Heaven forbid. That is bloody fantastic. I ain't no racist but surely all you have to do is organise your own prom and have a black only prom. Then the asain community can do the same and so on and so on!! Then there wouldnt be an issue. All of a sudden the more intelligent people in the area would say that it was stupid to have different proms and organise one big one.
There are organisations that only allow women and others that only allow men. Good for them. Its all about choice. ----------------------------------------------
