papers, please As a border checkpoint officer, you must enforce strict immigration rules while trying to provide for your family. Daily updates to regulations demand precision, and every mistake can have severe consequences. Ethical dilemmas arise as you encounter desperate individuals seeking entry. In papers, please , you’re forced to decide between following orders and offering compassion, making it a thought-provoking game about morality and survival in a harsh world.

I have fond memories of playing Sonic The Hedgehog with my dad on his Sega Mega Drive. Whoever thought a blue hedgehog who can run really fast could be the main character in a videogame deserves a good, hearty pat on the back. Nintendo had a plumber as its main hero. But even he came from a magical land filled with cool looking creatures. Videogames have had all sorts of heroes over the years. My son is hooked on a game at the moment where he gets to play as Indiana Jones. I've played games where I get to step into the shoes of vampires, monster hunters, space pirates, freedom fighters, criminals and even cops. So with all these cool, exciting games on the market, who in their right mind would want to play as a "border checkpoint officer"? Jesus Henry Christ. I'd rather watch paint dry. Imagine trying to sell that game. "Hey little Timmy, would you like to enforce strict immigration rules while trying to provide for your family?" No thank you. I'd rather play as Indiana Jones and knock out some Nazis. Thanks for offering though.
