I SAW X MEN 2 LAST NIGHT! It was quite enjoyable! I will see it again when it comes out on DVD...may even purchase it.

I give it ***1/2

Don't expect a lot of intellectual stimulation, in depth characters or brilliant acting (and that guy with the goggles just looked like a dork). Expect fantastic visuals, a pretty interesting story, doses of humour, sentiment and ka-pow, blammo action. To sum up - I was impressed.

maybe they should put wolverine and cyclops in a gay XXX-men porn flick. bring it on! lol

but the one girl with the long nails i saw in the trailer; is that lady deathstrike?

that's her... As for the bad acting mentioned before well in the first one the actors were quite good and the themes dealt with in the first were pretty strong... The recipe worked: a good balance between psychoogy and blockbuster action...

I can't wait to see it this week end...

I have to agree about Halle. I'm a fan insomuch as I'm extremely proud of some of the things she's accomplished (she's also a homegirl from a neighboring suburb), but I've never thought she was that stunning an actress... and she definitely is a vastly different person than Storm.

The "guy with the goggles" is Cyclops, and he really IS a dork, so that works for me!

Saw it! Loved it! Can't wait to see part three!!!

And I can honestly say that, despite certain casting reservations I have, everyone did a great job.

Me likey..Wolv got to finally tear it up, and so did Storm. Handlin' her shit. They need to do a Matrix by making two t the same time to release 6 months later etc. making us wait another 2-3 years. But next year or so we shoud get Spiderman-2 and Hulk is gonna be badass.

Yeah... Storm -- and the rest of the girls for that matter -- really came forward in this flick. And I'm SOOO pumped about Jean Grey's character.

I hated the Hulk trailer. How much more fake could they have made him look? It's only a step up from the original King Kong.

Hulks all cgi..but it looks nice still. Action etc. Olys Ang Lee directing..it is going to have a decent story one would think.

i have been (just about) begging friends to go with me and no one wanted to see it...so...i said fuck them and went to a matinee showing of it yesterday BY MYSELF!!

i thought the effects were incredible, the story line was excellent and almost shed a tear.

Alan Cummings was fantastic. the character portrayal, superb. NightCrawler definately my favorite! i am already waiting with baited breath for it to come out on DVD!! i guess i may have to go to the theater a second time to see it!!

I've seen it twice in the first two days of its release, and I'd see it again today if 1) I had the extra dough; and 2) I could convince myself it wasn't a totally geekafied thing to do.

I can't think of a single performance that disappointed me in this movie, and I commend Brian Singer for being able to effectively utilize such a huge ensemble cast.

Loved it! I'll definitely be finding a way to see it again soon. I'm a fan of Alan Cummings, and he was fabuluos as Nightcrawler. And it wasn't tattoos but scarification, which looked totally kick-ass.

Granted this doesn't help you, but it's showing at the drive-ins yay! along with Daredevil, and Phone Booth.

I went and saw this movie last night... it was good... I think I liked the first better though. I may have enjoyed it more if we didn't have to sit in the third row back from the front... since all the other seats were taken. evil

The ending sort of puzzled me, because I didn't understand why the kid didn't just freeze the water. (I don't want to give anything away...)

Nightcrawler rocked!

In the film, Bobby Drake is still a young student. There's no way he could have frozen all of that water. Plus, Jean's evolution required that she be the one to save the X-Men.
